Who can purchase these?
Anyone! Free-to-use viewers are perfect for both personal residences and luxury destinations like golf courses, country clubs, wedding venues, rooftop lounges, resorts, and scenic lookouts—anywhere where an enhanced viewing experience adds value to the guest visit. Coin-operated viewers are best at tourist observatories, parks, lookouts, recreational areas and entertainment centers such as zoos and aquariums.
How much do the viewers cost?

Do I have a choice between purchasing a new or used viewer?
All of our viewers were manufactured between the 1930s and 1980s. Each viewer is professionally refurbished before finding a new home.
Is there an digital/electronic payment version available?
Coming in early 2026, we are excited to introduce viewers that support tap to pay (credit cards, debit cards, and smartphones). This option will be available for revenue-share partners. Please contact us to learn more.
Will the tap-to-pay viewers require an external power source or Wi-Fi connectivity?
No! Tower Optical is building a custom solution that’s fully contained, battery powered, and can run on cellular networks. Contact us to find out more.
For revenue-share partners, who is responsible for collections?
For coin-operated viewers, it’s depends on the site’s location, volume and agreement terms.
For our upcoming tap-to-pay viewers, Tower Optical will maintain the banking infrastructure and remit revenue-share payments directly to the partner by check or ACH.
Can we brand or customize the viewer?
Yes, we offer options such as engraved nameplates, framed site legacy reports and powder coating in your brand colors for an additional cost.
What Is the magnification of the viewer?
10x. Tower Optical is the only product in market that has a focus dial to adjust to near and far views.
What materials are the viewers made from?
Our viewers are 300 pounds of durable chrome-plated bronze and cast iron. They’re designed for long-term outdoor use in all weather conditions.
What’s the warranty on the viewer?
We offer a lifetime parts warranty. If anything breaks, contact us and we will send the necessary replacement parts and guide you through the repair process.
How do I maintain the viewer?
We recommend annual cleaning & greasing, and provide video instructions on how to do so. We also provide live customer support for any questions, and offer maintenance packages for those interested.
What’s the lead time from order to delivery?
Fulfillment and delivery takes approximately 1-2 weeks. If you are interested in white-glove delivery and installation, please contact us for an estimate.
